Copyright Infringement?

As very few people are aware, The Matrix is one if not the biggest case of copyright infringement in the history of motion pictures. But how does this affect The Matrix Online?

Nothing has been said about works based on the movies, or how the copyright question is to be answered now, after Sophia Stewart won a 6-year dispute between herself, the Wachowski Brothers and Warner Bros.

Is The Matrix Online now legally her property? Will Warner Bros. simply stomp the project so short before it's publication due to this case, that ended just a few weeks ago on October 4th, and that Warner Bros. apparently lost?

Many of you are not even aware of this, because as Stewart puts it "Warner Brothers parent company is AOL-Time Warner... this GIANT owns 95 percent of the media", and so the coverage about this case has been sparce to say the least. We will of course keep you up to date of how this affects The Matrix Online.
