Heavily upgraded protagonist models are just one of the many exciting features that this expansion to one of the most successful MMORPGs of all times brings. The expansion that focuses on Player versus Environment Combat (Mythic has released a complete rework of their award winning Realm vs. Realm system earlier this year, for free, already) has been rated Teen by ESRB and will hit the shelves for a suggested retail price of $29.99.

Release date for Catacombs has been set to December 7th, which leaves a mere month for the Hibernia, Albion and Midgard to prepare themselves for the impending impact of massive new content, 5 new classes, graphics engine upgrades and more. "Instanced dungeons have been a mainstay of MMORPGs for many years, and before that in some standalone games and early MUDs. Our 'Private Adventuring' areas present 'Catacombs' players with enough challenges to keep them exploring this subterranean realm of new dungeons and underground cities for a long time to come, ensuring a 'freshness' to the game that is difficult to maintain in many MMORPGs. And, as if that’s not enough, there are also the five new character classes which bring new strategic elements and story to the game.", said Mark Jacobs.
