Closed Beta has ended

As announced by Blizzard Entertainment recently, the World of Warcraft US Closed Beta has come to an end.

Blizzard will continue with another stress test, followed by Open Beta. This means, it's getting closer to launch. Originally, Blizzard intended to spread the stress test client to closed beta testers earlier, but due to the heavy amount of maintenance, this was not possible.

Due to this, the official Forums are down for the course of the weekend as well. We will keep you updated on details of the stress test as more information becomes available on our World of Warcraft dedicated fansite World of Warcraft Hell.

Clarification: The European Closed Beta test continues to this hour, and it has not been announced when it will end.
