Cedega, which was once WineX, is a windows emulator for the Linux operating system. Transgaming now officially support Anarchy Online with their latest release 4.1.

Their latest release notes state: "TransGamers can now enjoy playing Far Cry and Anarchy Online". And we encourage you to try it out.

In order for Anarchy Online to work with Cedega, you will have to patch the game to version 14.7.3 manually. If the patcher crashes, simply restart it.

Maybe this is yet another step, showing developers that supporting Linux can help a games success. A developer that already supports Linux is eGenesis, their hit game A Tale in the Desert 2 comes with clients for Windows, Mac OSX and Linux.
