New Download System

Artifact Entertainment today announced that they have deployed a new system to manage the downloads of their Horizons: Empire of Istaria game client.

The new download system is supposed to deliver the client more efficiently and faster than before. It is "using XCRC to ensure that all downloaded files are valid" and another feature they have added is "much more effective bandwidth management so all users get the best download rate possible".
