New Devlog from Misha
Misha has posted a new Devlog on the Pirates of The Burning Sea site. In it she talks about racing her Miata and testing the game, oh and not to mention a little quiz for the PoTBS community.

All I want to talk about is taking my Miata on the track yesterday. How, even though my tires were screaming around turn 2 in the first lap, I learned in later laps that they could scream even louder without losing their grip. Next time, I'm trying it in 4th instead of 3rd gear. How I *still* haven't managed to get turn 3 right, even losing it once and going off the track at 3a, but I'm getting better. And about how the instructor told me I could go through turns 5 without acceleration or deceleration, just steady pressure keeping the tack at 5000 RPM and I eventually managed to do that and he was right – it was perfect! Sigh. Back to work.
We got me a copy of Acronis TrueImage so I can more easily do clean-machine testing. With this app, you can back up your system and quickly restore it instead of wiping the machine and reinstalling Windows, etc. I used Norton's Ghost at Microsoft and liked it, but read reviews indicating TI is better than recent versions of Ghost. I promptly learned that I needed six blank diskettes. I found a couple floating around the office, but not six. We just don't use those things any more! Then Rusty came back from E3 with a present for me - a new AMD 3400+ machine with one of those fancy NVIDIA 6800 cards in it! It also has a CD burner in it so I can TI to CD instead of floppies. Rusty wants me to swoon that it's heavenly, but I spent a full day setting it up, backing it up, setting up some more, backing up again, having that backup fail, backing up to network, and then getting the game running. That wasn't too heavenly. Now that it's working, the game looks heavenly on it, though!
