At the following time, we performed a version update on FINAL FANTASY XI.

button after maintenance is complete, and follow the on-screen instructions to begin the update process.

[Important Update Details]
*The following changes and corrections have been made to Ballista:
-An issue concerning an incorrect level restriction announced by the Herald for matches that carry over from one month to another has been corrected.
-The restriction that prevented characters from participating in Ballista more than once per day (Earth time) has been removed.
-The maximum difference allowed in the number of people participating on each side has been altered from 6 to the following:

18-23 3
24-29 4
29+ 5
*This restriction will now be based on the side with the least number of participants.
-The ??? mark that appears after defeating the bosses in each of the six areas of Dynamis is now easier to target. This mark has been given priority in the targeting order so it will be displayed even when standing in a large crowd of characters.
-An issue wherein the wrong motion was performed when using the /salute emote has been addressed.
*The following item issues have been corrected:
Bard's Slippers
-> An issue wherein the string instrument skill bonus did not function correctly has been addressed.
Suppanomimi
-> An issue wherein the dual wield skill bonus did not function correctly has been addressed.
-An issue wherein the quest "Fit for a Prince" was being re-offered after the quest had been completed will no longer occur.
-Various other issues were corrected as well.
