Winter in Paragon City

NCSoft today announced their large City of Heroes Winter Event that will run for several months, introducing new features and more while it proceeds.

The event will feature the appearance of a variety of Snow Beasts in most of Paragon City and an icy theme. Many lakes and ponds will be covered with ice so you can feel the cold breeze that enshrouds Paragon City.

Whenever one of the snow beasts is defeated, heroes will be given gifts and a temporary Snowball power, which is just a gimmick: "The snowballs can be used on other heroes, with no ill effects except for the indignity of being hit by a snowball".
