Mythics Allows Artifact Switching in DAoC

For a short period of time, Mythic Entertainment is allowing their users for a one time artifact switch or reset for the players of Dark Age of Camelot: Trials of Atlantis.

According to Mythic Entertainment, a player may decide to "switch" the current artifact for the same artifact, but different damage type. Mythic is also allowing Artifact resets that allow a player to re-do an artifact quest in case they lost or destroyed their artifact. This switch comes with some work and some drawbacks, however.

First, the item must be unequipped (if you still have it). Second, an appeal request must be made to the CSR's in order to initiate the reset or switch. The item will be then switched for a level 0 with 0 experience artifact item when the CSR gets to your request (assuming you unequipped the item and followed the instructions correctly).
