Star Trek Online FAQ Published

Paramount Pictures has published an extensive FAQ on the Star Trek Online title in the works at Perpetual Entertainment, including an estimation of when the Beta will start.

Some exciting facts are revealed through this recently published FAQ, like the fact that you will indeed play the role of a person, not a ship (or a person that is constantly within a ship, like for example Eve Online) and Beta is estimated to start in 2006. From this early glimpse it looks like Perpetual Entertainment is really trying to pull off the thought-to-be-impossible stunt of re-creating the Star Trek universe in a persistent online game.

The extreme complexity and fame of Star Trek will make this an enormous endurance test for the team at Perpetual Entertainment and we don't even want to mention the word "cancelation" here - we sure hope this exciting game is going to happen!
