Last week NCSoft announced it would give out 2000 copies of their hit Superhero MMO, City of Heroes to US Navy personnel returning to the Middle East. The games will be given out at the Norfolk (Va.) Naval Station Exchange.

The first major update to City of Heroes is close to going live and it is now available for early download. This is an idea I find very interesting as it may be a way to eliminate clogged servers when the update goes live.
